Are You Interested in Volunteering?
The mission of the Acorn Scholarship Fund (ASF) is to provide scholarships to qualified employees as they work to achieve their educational and career goals.
There are seven committees, staffed by volunteers that do the work required to raise funds and award scholarships. In the months and years to come, ASF will grow in terms of the number of scholarships awarded each year as will the work required to support that effort. Also, the Board has a goal of building a succession plan to ensure the longevity of the Fund in years to come.
Therefore, the ASF Board is seeking Cypress members who have an interest in volunteering in the future. The benefits of volunteering are many, including the opportunity to use your skills to support our employees while also partnering and deepening relationships with members who share this goal.
Below is a list of committees with a brief description of both the work of each committee and the criteria for those who seek to serve.
If you have interest in any committee, please contact Dana Robinson at her email [email protected].
