The ACORN SCHOLARSHIP FUND
provides financial support to qualified Associates (employees) of
The Cypress of Raleigh as they work to achieve their educational and career goals.
Acorn's MissionThe Acorn Scholarship Fund (ASF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation founded by members of the Cypress of Raleigh Club, Inc. (Club). ASF is supported by donations from members and others. ASF offers scholarships to assist qualified applicants employed by the Club in their educational endeavors.
Scholarships are used to support post-secondary education or professional certification training costs incurred by qualified Associates of the Club. Scholarship grants are offered to encourage Associates to increase their capabilities and skills in their chosen fields. Specifically, scholarship grants may be awarded for programs that:

The Acorn Scholarship Fund projects that it will spend $309,600 on scholarships and individual grants in Fiscal Year 2026. As of February 25, the Fund has raised $107,862 in donations and $9,279 in interest and dividends. The Fund still needs to raise $192,459 to cover the scholarships and grants.
