The Acorn Scholarship Mentoring Program offers both applicants and recipients of funds guidance as they pursue educational and career goals.
A mentor can help you:
When to meet with mentors
When you apply for a scholarship. Once you complete the application and place it in the Acorn Scholarship lock box, you can meet with a mentor to review your application and to discuss preparing for your interview with the Scholarship Committee.

Additional meetings. You and your mentor may schedule additional meetings to discuss other matters.
When you receive a scholarship award. Once you are enrolled in an educational institution or vocational school, you may have questions you would like to discuss with a mentor. All recipients of scholarships will be offered an opportunity to meet with a mentor.
Who are the Mentors?
Mentors are Cypress of Raleigh members who volunteer their time to fulfill this role. They believe in the Associates at Cypress of Raleigh and want to help Associates, who seek additional education, to be successful in achieving their goals.
